SCHOOL!

I hated high school. No really, really, really hated high school. I had no motivation to get up in the morning. I never wanted to go to class. Sometimes I barely went. I hardly remember going freshman year. Sophmore year was a little better, and same with junior year. My best year was senior year, but I think it was because i was excited to get out of there.

But college, college is amazing!(:It's only been two days, but I'm excited every moment to go to school. From the moment my alarm goes off at 5:50am, all the way to coming home and doing homework. I find myself focusing 100% on my teachers, taking notes, and retaining almost everything they tell me. I think it's because my bakery is becoming more tangible every minute. I feel like I am doing more for my future now, then I ever did in high school. High school seemed like a big waste of time. I wish I had done running start, and I would be in culinary school right now! I would already have my AA and two years closer to opening Sarah-endipity Cakes. Not to mention I'd be a couple thousand dollars richer too!

So, if you're in high school and think you couldn't handle doing running start? well I say, give it a try! Try everything you possibly can before it's too late. I mean come on, it's free college! If I could go back to high school, that would be the ONLY thing I would change. Honest.

Sean and I went looking at the apartments up by Green River today. We would much rather walk to school, then have to leave an hour early (7am) to drive up to school. (we leave so early, because by 8am parking is horrendous). So we called Seasons at Lea Hill, brand new apartments and they include: gym, spa, year round pool, and theatre room. All for $720 a month. Only one problem, student status restrictions. Which means, we would have to have a non-student or part-time student living with us. So we went to Pasa Nino, just a block down. Brand new, 9ft ceilings and no restrictions, however they are $945-$960 a month for a one bedroom. Then we went to The Meadows on Lea Hill. $650 a month, with a the student status restriction. EXTREMELY IRRITATING!!!! So we are still looking for an apartment.

well, other than that, this week is going great and I know it's going to just keep getting better!
Tune in next time!
All my love,
S.hadley
